A day of thunderstorms did not keep TriCity CEOS from meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11. The meeting focused on planning for the 2027 club year.
An interesting selection of lessons will begin in March and end in December. Topics are Easter Egg Surprise, Is It Real or AI?, Appalachian Farming Using Signs, It’s No Joke – Humor and Mental Health, Roll Through the Hills – History of Pepperoni Rolls, Pumpkin Carving and Decorating, and Show and Tell Christmas Crafts.
The club also plans to attend the county picnic at Cadle Farm in July of next year.
A petition was circulated promoting the adoption of a Pledge to the WV Flag. Ceos statewide will approach the WV Legislature asking to make the pledge state law.
Officers and committee chairpersons will remain the same, but Betty Jo McNeel will replace Dreama West as secretary.
Planning for the Greenbrier County Fall Leadership Meeting will be discussed at the Sept. 8 meeting. The Leadership event will be at the Renick Community Center on Sept. 23 with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. The theme is Getting Active.
Members attending were Lynn Humphreys, Sally Holliday, Annette Thompson, Dreama West, Betty Jo McNeel, and Patty Gray.
