Sheldon Ray Michelinie

Fairlea-Sheldon Ray Michelinie, 87, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at home.

Born Apr. 18, 1927, at Fort Spring, he was the son of the late Ray Everett and Evadne Jane Hanger Michelinie.

Sheldon was a retired engineer for C&P Telephone Company, a Korean Navy Veteran and a member of the Greenbrier Regular Baptist Church.

Other than his parents, Sheldon was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jean Morgan Michelinie and sister, Marjorie Boyd.

Survivors include: a daughter, Beverly Clements of Fairlea; sons, Lanny Michelinie and wife Emma of Rainelle and Brian Michelinie of Fairlea; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Pastors Stewart Farley and Steve Cook officiated.

There was no visitation.
