<h5>Fairlea-William Edward Brown, 64, passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at home after an extended illness.<\/h5>\r\nWilliam was born Mar. 28, 1950, in Ronceverte to the late James Edward and Bertha Hedrick Brown.\r\n\r\nWilliam was a bridge and house construction worker having worked on the New River Gorge Bridge. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of Moose Lodge #2523.\r\n\r\nIn addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Kay Smith Brown; sister, Patty King and brother, James Brown.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include: sons, William Craig Brown of Ronceverte, Timothy Scott Brown and companion Heather of Lewisburg; sisters, Nellie King and companion Doug Sampson of Ronceverte. Rosalie Kirk of Ronceverte, Betty King of East Hampton, NY and Cathy Brown of Ronceverte; grandchildren, McKenzie, Destiny, Nathan and Collier; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\n<strong>Funeral service was conducted Wednesday, Aug. 27 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte where Rev.
