White Sulphur Springs-Nicholas Holt VanStavern, 63, of Rt. 92, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 11, 1958 in Prince Georges County, Maryland, the beloved son of the late Harry Holt VanStavern and Goldia Beatrice Bradley VanStavern.

He was an over the road trucker. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding “Harleys” and dirt bikes.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Wakeford VanStavern; daughter, Lori Nichole VanStavern (Stephen Davis) of White Sulphur Springs; grandson, Jacob Michael Davis; sister, Melba Conner of White Sulphur Springs; mother-in-law, Linda Wakeford; brother-in-law, Douglas Hoke, Sr. of White Sulphur Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. Interment will follow in the Mapledale Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.

The family will receive their family and friends on Saturday from 12 noon until time of services.
