Ronceverte-Mary Hanna Boggs Dean, 86, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.

Mary was born Dec. 22, 1927, at Alvon to the late Layton P. and Nina Spangler Hanna.

She was a member of the Shuck Memorial Baptist Church, a retired nurse’s aide and homemaker. She loved to read the Bible, loved watching her birds and she also loved spending time with family and friends.

Other than her parents, Mary was preceded in death by sisters, Hallie Ferrance and Ruth Waid, and brothers, Paul and Bob Hanna.

She is survived by: her five children, Duane Boggs and wife Vicki of White Sulphur Springs, Linda Boggs Miller and husband Mike of Crestview, FL, Inga Boggs Seldomridge and husband Danny of Frankford, Mary Susan Boggs Dodd and husband Doug of Lewisburg and Robert Boggs of White Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 1 at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg, where Rev. Pat Defibaugh officiated. There was no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, a donation of sympathy may be made to a charity of your choice.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg was in charge of arrangements.
