Keyser-Linda Lou Van Devener, 69, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, died Sunday, June 29, 2014

Born Dec. 10, 1944, in White Sulphur Springs, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Kate E. Dolin Van Devener.

Linda was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She loved being outdoors and attending yard sales. She had a very special care giver, Amanda.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Knapp.

Survivors include sisters, Mae Byers of White Sulphur Springs and Tereasa Chavis (Trent) of Alvon; brother, Paul VanDevener of Alvon; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service was conducted on Thursday, July 3, at Wild Meadow Baptist Church, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs where Pastor Gene Sizemore officiated.

Visitation was two hours prior to the service at the church.

Burial was in the Alvon United Methodist Cemetery in Alvon.

Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, is serving the family.
