Lewisburg – Linda Ina Rutherford, 74, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at the Greenbrier Health Care Center.

Born Nov. 8, 1942, at Renick, she was the daughter of the late Warren Samuel and Virginia Grace Harford Tharp.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rutherford and two brothers, Robert and Ronald Tharp.

Linda was a homemaker.

Survivors include two brothers, Lester Tharp and wife Natalie of Caldwell, and Billy Tharp and wife Kim of Burlington, KY; two sisters, Evelyn Lewis of Caldwell, and Barbara Hughes of Reno, NV; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, where Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiated. Burial followed in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Visitation was before the service at the funeral home, Tuesday.
