<strong><img class=" wp-image-30001 alignleft" src="https:\/\/mountainmedianews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2017\/10\/Noel-Ryder3.jpg" alt="" width="179" height="275" \/><\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Alvon<\/strong>-Noel Corbett Ryder went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, in Roanoke, VA, surrounded by his children after complications from a stroke.\r\n\r\nHe was born Apr. 17, 1943, at Northfork, WV, the son of the late Arick Theodore and Zelda Sue Ryder.\r\n\r\nNoel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed singing gospel music at his Friday evening gospel jams and churches all over. He was a member of Alvon United Methodist Church and was retired General Manager from David Ryder Contracting, Inc.\r\n\r\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Anna Gale Lynch Ryder on Aug. 14, 2016; infant son, Matthew Eric Ryder; twin infant brothers, Claude and Cleasou Ryder; sister-in-law, Naomi Ryder; brother-in-law, Bruce Kersey; nieces, Roberta Ryder and Angela Nelson; and nephew, Joshua Clendenin.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include his children, Karon Cole (Robert), David Ryder (Sherry), Keith Ryder (Cherie), Sherriv Ratliff (Jerry), Regina Dolin (Darin) and Jared Ryder (Bethany); grandchildren, Jessica Bolen (Clayton), Eric Ratliff (Theresa), Matthew Cole (Brooke), Chelsea Ryder, Cassidy Wickline (Parish), Kenslea Davis (Nathan), Kellea Cole, Heather Webb (Dalton), Corbett Ryder, Cameron Ryder, Leah Rydet, Ashley Dolin, Aiden Dolin, Jeremiah Ryder, and Isaiah Ryder; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Aciel Ryder (Nancy), Daniel Ryder, Bill Ryder, Darlene Ward, Lilly Nelson (Bud), Inez Stimeling (J.P.), and Brenice McClaughlin; sisters-in-law, Patsy Hollandsworth (Ronnie), Nellie McClintic (Bobby), Vickie Caldwell (Buck), Linda Kersey, Sammy Coleman (Elmer) and Bonnie Spinks (Buck); and brothers-in-law, Henry Lynch (Christie), Mike Lynch (Debbie), and Johnny Lynch (Shirley).\r\n\r\nFuneral service were held Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Alvon United Methodist Church, where Rev. Bobby McClintic and Buck Caldwell officiated. Burial was in the Lynch Family Cemetery, Alvon.\r\n\r\nVisitation was Monday evening, Oct. 16, at the Alvon United Methodist Church.\r\n\r\nPallbearers were David Ryder, Keith Ryder, Jared Ryder, Corbett Ryder, Cameron Ryder, Eric Ratliff and Matthew Cole.\r\n\r\nWallace & Wallace Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
