Are you ready to start the new year with a fresh career? Mountain Gateway Community College is offering exciting FastForward workforce training programs starting in Jan. 2025, designed to help you gain the skills and certifications you need for high-demand jobs in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and more. With financial assistance available to reduce tuition costs by up to two-thirds, this is your opportunity to jump-start a rewarding career without the financial burden.

Starting Jan. 13, 2025, Mountain Gateway will offer a variety of in-demand programs, including Emergency Medical Technician, Nurse Aide, and NCCER Core Curriculum, to name just a few. If you’re looking for hands-on training in trades, you can take advantage of courses like NCCER Carpentry Level 1, Phlebotomy Technician, and Welding Basics, all beginning in mid-January. Additionally, Clinical Medical Assistant and Massage Therapy programs are available later in the year, offering more opportunities to build a career that matches your interests.

The FastForward initiative makes these career-focused programs more affordable than ever, allowing you to pay a fraction of the full tuition. Additional funding may also be available for qualified students to cover the remaining costs, ensuring that you can access the education you need to thrive in today’s job market.

“FastForward is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to quickly gain the skills they need to succeed in high-demand industries,” said Robin Jennings, FastForward Career Coach at Mountain Gateway Community College. “Our programs are designed to help students get into the workforce faster, with real-world training and certifications that employers are actively seeking.”

Start your journey toward a brighter future by enrolling in one of Mountain Gateway Community College’s FastForward programs. For more information about available courses, funding opportunities, and how to enroll, contact Robin Jennings at rjennings@mgcc.edu or Kylie Hendrickson at khendrickson@mgcc.edu or visit www.mgcc.edu/workforce.

In addition to FastForward training programs, Mountain Gateway Community College’s Spring Semester begins on Jan. 13. Whether you’re pursuing a degree or seeking to explore new career paths, the college offers flexible options tailored to help you achieve your goals. Connect with an advisor at 540-863-2820 for personalized assistance in selecting the best program or training for your future.

Mountain Gateway Community College will be closed for winter break starting Dec. 24. The college will reopen for normal business on Jan. 2, 2025.
