Christmas Mass schedules announced for Greenbrier Valley Catholic Churches; Midnight Mass to be celebrated in White Sulphur Springs

The traditional Midnight Mass at 12:01 a.m. Christmas Day will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on US 60 West, White Sulphur Springs by Msgr. Kevin Quirk, pastor, with the traditional carols of Christmas being observed.

Other Masses at St. Charles Borromeo will be at 4 p.m. Christmas eve and 10 a.m. Christmas Day.

At other Catholic churches in Greenbrier County, there will be a 5 p.m. Mass Christmas eve and a 11 a.m. Mass on Christmas Day at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rainelle and at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Ronceverte, Christmas eve Mass will be at 6 p.m. with special music provided by the Hymns and Hers, the choir of St. Catherine of Siena.

In Pocahontas County, Christmas eve Masses will be celebrated at 5 p.m. at St. Mark, the Evangelist, Catholic Church in Bartow and at 9 p.m. at St. Bernard Church at the Snowshoe Resort. Christmas Day Mass will be at 10 a.m. at St. John Neuman Church in Marlinton.

All Masses are open to the public, Catholics and non-Catholics as a way of celebrating the birth of Christ. The information on Mass times for Christmas eve and day has been gathered by the Greenbrier Valley Council 8689 Knights of Columbus. For further information, telephone the Knights at 304-645-1373.
