New River Community and Technical College proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) students during a special pinning ceremony held on the Greenbrier Valley Campus. The event honored the hard work, dedication, and achievements of students who are now prepared to begin their careers as registered nurses.
The pinning ceremony, a time-honored tradition in nursing education, symbolizes the transition from student to professional nurse. Family, friends, faculty, and community members gathered to recognize the students’ success and their commitment to healthcare.
“Today, we celebrate not just the completion of a rigorous academic program but also the beginning of a journey to serve and care for others,” said Laurie Bourdeaux, Nursing Director at New River CTC. “Our graduates are prepared to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.”
The ADN program at New River CTC prepares students with the knowledge and clinical skills needed for nursing licensure and employment in healthcare settings.
