On Friday, Dec. 20, Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company (GVBC) will be releasing a new beer: Lawdog Oatmeal Stout (5.4 ABV 25 IBU0. This new brew is a collaboration between GVBC and local law enforcement, and is a malt-forward traditional stout recipe with hints of chocolate, roast, and oats. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 105 in Lewisburg to help children in need.
To celebrate the release, there will be a soup cookoff on Friday, Dec. 20, starting at 5 p.m. The public is encouraged to bring a soup of their choice to enter. The entry fee is $10. The 50/50 proceeds will go directly to Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 105 in Lewisburg. Kitchen 304 will be on site, as well.
The beer release will be held at 6 p.m. This small batch beer will only be available in the GVBC Taproom.
