Kenneth C. Hoke, Sr.

Lewisburg – Kenneth C. “K.C.” Hoke, Sr., 91, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at Autumn Way Assisted Living in Rupert.

Born Apr. 15, 1927, at White Sulphur Springs, he was a son of the late Lawrence A. and Lula L. Sawyers Hoke.

K.C. was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs; a WWII and Korean Army Air Corp Veteran, and was a retired Sergeant with the Lewisburg Police Department. He was a proud American and served his country with honor.

In addition to his parents, K.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Pinnell Hoke and son, Kenneth C. Hoke, Jr.

Survivors include son, Barry Hoke (Donna) of Lewisburg; daughter, Rose Mary Allen (John) of Waldorf, MD; grandchildren, Philip Carby Allen, K.C. Hoke, III, Robert Elbert Hoke, Darcy Ann Hayes, and Brent Pyne; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Carby Allen, Bailey Allen, Rosealia Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Anthony Hayes, Kenneth Hayes, Gavin Pyne, Mason Pyne and Ella Pyne.

A visitation was held Wednesday evening, May 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs.

A memorial service was held Thursday, May 24, at the church where Bishop Troyer officiated.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.
