Leivasy-Jessie F. Amick, 91, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Meadow Garden in Rainelle.

Jessie was born May 8, 1927, in Leivasy, to the late W. C. and Martha J. Bragg Amick.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Amick who passed away in 1993; son-in-law, John McCombs; daughter-in-law, Julia Amick; four sisters; and eight brothers.

Surviving Jessie are: daughter, Diana McCombs of Leivasy; sons, Roger Amick; Danny Amick and wife Linda of both of Leivasy; 25 grandchildren; as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, May 21, at New Prospect Baptist Church in Leivasy where Pastor Tim McClung officiated. Burial followed in Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville,

A visitation was held at the church for friends and family one hour prior to the service.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle is in charge of arrangements.
