Ronceverte – Letha Evelyn Reed Baker, 75, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.

Letha was born in Ronceverte on Oct. 30, 1942, to the daughter of the late A.T. and Charlotte Reed.

Letha, in her prime, was an avid Bingo player, bowler, a WVU and golf fanatic, enjoyed weekends at the camp with her family and friends, and seldom missed her Wednesday lunch date with her special friends. Letha worked as a beautician, at the local Ronceverte bank, and many years at H&R Block.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Dale Baker of Ronceverte; her son, Steve Baker (Jeni) of Lewisburg; her daughter, Lisa Baker (fiance Steve) of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Brenley and Lydia Baker, James and Reed McGraw, Jason and Kevin Zlickafoose; great-grandchild, M. Bristol Evelyn Burns; nieces, Debbie Johnson and Jennifer Marshall; nephew, Danny Johnson; and many friends and family.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 23, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, with Mr. Mike Teubert, Pastor Roger McDaniel, and Pastor Gary Baker officiating, with a service immediately following at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.

The family would love to receive a favorite memory/story of Letha to cherish.
