<strong>Fairlea<\/strong> - Jack Glenn Weeks, 73, passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Peyton Hospice House.\r\n\r\nBorn July 12, 1944, in Alderson, Jack was the son of the late Joseph Glenn and Bernice Edith Mays Weeks.\r\n\r\nJack was a retired inspector for the WV Department of Highways and a member of the Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. His CB handle was \u201cinspector\u201d and he enjoyed using the CB radio and the friends he met over the CB. He also enjoyed bowling.\r\n\r\nBesides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his special grandmother, Sarah Jane \u201cSadie\u201d Phillips Mays and her husband George; grandparents, Robert Milton and Virginia Huntington Weeks; sister, Wanda Phillips and husband SM \u201cBuck\u201d Phillips; sister, Doris H. Perry; and brother, Robert Joseph Weeks.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include: sister, Joyce W. Housby of Alderson; special friend, Pete Cochran and his family; his very special dog, Patches; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.\r\n\r\nThe funeral service was held Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church in Alderson, where Pastor Kathy Keadle officiated.
