 Columbus, OH-Everette L. Fox, 86, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at the cabin he loved.

The only child of Alleta and Ray Fox, he was born Oct. 25, 1930, in White Sulphur Springs.

He was a prominent builder of mostly custom homes. He served in the Navy aboard USS Saipan CVLA8.

Other than his parents, Everette was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, and son, Steven Sr.

He is survived by: son, David of Florida; grandchildren Steven Jr. (Natalie) and Angelia (Murad) Holliday; great-grandchildren, Zachery Allen Fox, Haley Elizabeth Fox and Camren Murad Holliday; daughter-in-law, Bonnie; and longtime friend, Erma Griesdom.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. Interment will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Hoke Chapel Cemetery, Ogles Creek, VA

Friends may contribute in his memory to Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
