Frank Herbert Bailey III

Frank Herbert Bailey III, of Venice, FL, formerly of Princeton, WV, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank H., Jr. and Ada Jane Bailey.

Frank was a graduate of Union High School, where he met his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia (Patti) Ann Bailey. In high school, Frank played football and was selected to the All-State Football Team in 1965. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps where he served in the Vietnam War. After serving his country, he worked and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Those left to cherish Frank’s memory include his wife Patti and their son, Jeffery Todd Bailey of Venice, FL; 3 granddaughters Kristin Nicole Lineberry (whom her and Frank lovingly referred to each other as “bud”) and husband Chase Lineberry of Venice, FL, Morgan McKenzie Bailey of Morgantown, WV and Lauren Ann Bailey of Princeton, WV; great-grandson Caiden Tyler Lineberry. Surviving siblings include Bill and his wife Karen of Peterstown, Fran O’Brien of Ronceverte, Brenda Walker of Union, Philip Bailey of Daniels, and Rick Bailey of Sinks Grove. Along with several special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, June 28, at the New Lebanon Church in Pickaway. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, with a memorial service to follow promptly after.
