The Old Greenbrier Baptist Church Choir and Friends will present their Annual Easter Cantata on Sunday, Mar. 29 at 3 p.m. at the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church in Alderson.
The title is: “Jesus Saves” arranged by Russell Mauldin. Come and listen as the choir presents a joyous Easter musical. The presentation takes the message of God’s love to our communities as it promises to change the lives of all who hear that Jesus Saves! It’s our privilege to share the news of hope through this musical. The Cantata will be directed by Dell Wood and accompanied by Nancy Wood.
The participating choir members are: Sopranos – Rose Carter, Charlotte Grimmett, Jo Honaker, Sylvia Keaton and Carolyn Jo Knapp; Altos – Phyllis Boone, Carolyn Holliday, Alice McCutcheon, Lynda Neff, Alice Penfield, Jodi Wiseman and Kayla Wiser; Tenors – Joe Bradley, Pastor Bill Bryan, Peggy Bollenbach, Curtis Pauley and Brennan Wood; Basses – James Burns, Darrell Croy, Jason Farmer, Bob Holliday and Lawrence Lewis. The narrator for the Cantata is Rev. Dr. Bill Bryan. The soloist is Jodi Wiseman.
We invite the public to attend this Easter Cantata and worship with us through music.
