Renick-Connie Charlene Simmons, 58, passed away following a sudden illness, Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at Charleston Area Medical Center – Memorial.
Born May 9, 1960, in Marlinton, she was the daughter of the late Warner Sheldon Clark and Bonnie Louise Clutter Clark Mullins.
She was a member of the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church where she served as Elder. Connie was a longtime employee of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center where she was an Operating Room Technician.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Clark.
Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, John Thomas Simmons; son, Sheldon McKendree Simmons of Renick; brother, Alston W. Clark (Carolyn) of Red Lion, PA; nephew, Michael W. Clark and great- niece, Kylee S. Clark both of York, PA; uncle, Kenneth Clutter (Ruth) of Windsor, PA and aunt, Mary Clutter of Marlinton.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with Pastor Lynn Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick.
Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
