West Point Baptist Church

Squire Parsons, Author of Sweet Beulah Land, will appear in concert at West Point Baptist Church on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. The church is located on Route 12 in Asbury (4 miles south of I-64 via Exit 161 at Alta).

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

service Sunday, Dec. 6 will begin at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley.

Salem Presbyterian Church

invites you to their annual Christmas Advent Worship Service, concluded with a Candlelight Service Sunday, Dec. 6, beginning at 6 p.m. This is a service to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Joe Howard and New Horizon will be providing the special music. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow the service. Everyone is welcome to attend. Salem Presbyterian Church is located on Rt. 219, South, in the community of Organ Cave. Rev. Ben Gurley is the Stated Supply Pastor of both Salem and McLean Presbyterian Churches.

Trinity United Methodist Church

invites everyone to a Christmas Extravaganza, Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Cookie trays, baked goods, homemade goodies of all sorts, craft items, a white elephant table, a silent auction, gently used Christmas decorations and more will be for sale. A soup and salad lunch will be available too. The church is located at the corner of Walnut Street and Pocahontas Avenue in Ronceverte and is handicapped accessible.

Rhema Christmas play slated

Join us at Rhema Christian Center for our Christmas Play, “Cricket County Blizzard” Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. There’s a blizzard blowing in Cricket County this Christmas, trapping everyone in Grandma Taylor’s Diner on Christmas Eve. The country bunch, the city bunch and even a couple strangers end up being snowed in together. Mayhem and worry turns into a lesson about giving and love. Lewisburg Baptist Church

Living Christmas Tree presents “The Skeptic” Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 246 Grand Avenue, Lewisburg.

Pence Springs Community Church

will present their Annual Christmas Play Sunday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at the church. The title this year is “Emmanuel … God With Us.” Pastor Roger Persinger and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

Griffith Creek Baptist Church

invites you to their Awana program each Wednesday night 6:30-8:30 p.m. September-May for children 3-18 years of age. Food, fun and classes for everyone. Adult Bible Study 6:45 p.m. – ?
