Bluebell Garden Club members assembled for a day trip to White Oak Lavender Farms in Virginia recently. In this lush location, they were treated to a tour which showed the extraction process of oils, and learned about medicinal, topical, and dietary uses of lavender oils. Additionally, all were invited to cut a bouquet of their own lavender stems as a memento. Lunch followed at Cross Keys winery.
