Bernard Elwood Tucker

White Sulphur Springs-Bernard Elwood Tucker, 80, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at home.

Born on Aug. 30, 1938, at White Sulphur Springs, he was a son of the late Joe Ben Tucker and Frances Laxtive Feury.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wade Tucker.

Mr. Tucker was a retired mason and plasterer for The Greenbrier Hotel. He was a US Army Veteran and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Tina Graham and husband Hayroth of Alvon; a son, Forrest Tucker and his wife Barbara of Glace; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 25, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in White Sulphur Springs where Pastor Charles Feury and Pastor Donnie Dowdy officiated. Burial followed in Mapledale Cemetery at Mapledale, WV.

The family received friends Saturday evening, Nov. 24, at the funeral home.
