Amanda Dawn Hunnicutt, 48, passed away on Sunday, Apr. 27, 2025, at the Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. Born Jan. 24, 1977, in Ronceverte, she was the daughter of Donald and Peggy Weikle Goodall.

Amanda worked as a school nurse for Monroe County Schools. She enjoyed traveling, golf, and arts and crafts. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lewis and Erma Jean Goodall; and her maternal grandparents, Ray and Bertie Weikle.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Brian Hunnicutt; children, Logan Hunnicutt and fiancé Madison, Alexis Walker and husband Seth, Karissa Hunnicutt and Noah, Haley Hunnicutt and fiancé Russell, and Dylan Hunnicutt; grandchildren, Easton Hunnicutt, and one on the way, Lakyn Bryant; siblings, Joe Goodall and wife Corrine, Cindy Mann and husband Eddie, and Tim Goodall and Jessica; special aunt, Missie Weikle; special niece, Lynzee Martin and husband Andrew, and their child, Isaiah; and many other extended family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Frank Houck officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
