Russell Lee Coulter, 69, of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, Apr. 27, 2025, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born on Dec. 12, 1955, in Oak Hill, WV, he was the son of the late Elba Lee Coulter, Jr. and Demma Jean LeMasters Coulter.
In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by a grandson, Isaiah Coulter, and the mother of his children, Serelda Jean Lanier.
Russell is survived by his children, Matthew Coulter (Tabitha), Joshua Coulter (Amanda), and Nicole Bailey (Jeff); his siblings, Richard Coulter (Cheryl), Pamela Hunter (Mike), Barbara Morgan (Mitch), Mary Thomas, and Susan McCormack (Aaron); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 5, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jacob Riley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
