Roy Cleveland Holliday, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Apr. 23, 2025, one day shy of his 72nd birthday. Born Apr. 24, 1953, in Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Roy Cleveland and Sally Pendleton Holliday. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Holliday and brother-in-law, Dennis Bittinger, Sr.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Bittinger with whom he made his home, nephews, Dennis “D.J.” Bittinger (Katrina) and Adam Bittinger, nieces, Candice Smith (Micah) and Crystal Holliday, great-nieces and nephews, Hunter and Emma Bittinger and Keira and Kaleb Smith, special cousin, Florence Peterson.
Per his wishes he will be cremated. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 26, at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg. There will be no service.
