It’s almost time for Derby Day at WV State Fairgrounds

Gateway Industries, located in Ronceverte will host its 21st Annual Derby Day party on Saturday, May 2, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Underwood Youth Center at the WV State Fairgrounds.

Gateway Industries is located in a modern and convenient industrial setting, and has been subcontracting with business and the U.S. Government for over 30 years. Gateway offers employment readiness services, employer tax credits and incentives, work skills training and assessments, work adjustment opportunities and incentives, job readiness for disabled veterans, temporary employment services, educational planning assistance, job maintenance skills and services. Gateway is a community-based rehabilitation provider offering supported employment opportunities and independent living skills training.

Gateway employs 25 plus trained workers, knowledgeable and dedicated staff, high speed internet, UPS and FEDX shipping, loading docks, forklifts and forklift operators handling tractor trailer loads and warehousing and distribution capabilities.

Gateway provides a dry, fully sprinkled, insulated and heated warehouse space with approximately 9,200 square feet of total warehouse space. Warehouses are equipped with security systems, unitized in-out products from pallets, bulk containers, gay lords, and rack and bulk storage. All items in storage are handled by forklifts and stored in dedicated segregated spaces to help with effective and efficient management of warehouse operations.
