The city of Lewisburg is asking the general public for their input on the comprehensive plan developed over the past year by the city’s planning commission. Several projects recommended in the plan address a variety of issues and concerns raised by residents and municipal officials throughout the planning process. However, due to limited resources, the city can only focus on a few high priority projects at a time.
The planning commission needs the public’s help in determining what those high priority projects should be in directing future development. A survey has been created to solicit input from the the public, which includes transportation, recreation, economic development, downtown revitalization, sustainability, land use, and historical and educational concerns. The survey, designed to only take a few minutes to complete, can be found online at:
The city asks the public to complete the survey by Friday, May 1.
