The next meeting of the Williamburg CEOS will be Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the Williamsburg Historical Museum beginning at noon with a covered dish lunch. Everyone is welcome to come and learn more about the Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS).
At the July meeting of the WVU Williamsburg CEOS Club members learned ‘The Art of Pastry Pie: A Heritage Tradition,’ presented by Shela McComsey. The history of pastry credits the Egyptians with creating the first pie as we know it. Members brought homemade pies to share. The Shoo-fly pie was made by Shela McComsey. Of course, everyone had a piece of the pie!
