The White Sulphur Springs Lions President presented a Centennial Membership Pin to former District Governor Dick Brockway at their February meeting.

Richard “Dick” Brockway of White Sulphur Springs Lions Club was recently recognized by Lions Clubs International for membership growth during the Centennial Celebration.

He also received a certificate stating, “By recruiting and retaining new Lions, your efforts will be able to serve more people in our next century of service. Congratulations! You have earned a Gold Centennial Lions pin as part of the Centennial Membership Awards program.”

Past District Governor Brockway has been a Lion for over 50 years, and has sponsored nearly 50 new members during that time.

New members are always welcome to serve the community. If you are interested, join them at the Episcopal Church on Main Street any second or fourth Monday at 7 p.m. Contact President Betty Gillespie at 304-535-1578 for more information.
