The Williamsburg Community Educational Outreach Service Club learned of a new Rails-to-Trails System located along the Elk River, one of many being operated by the WV Division of Natural Resources State Parks. The lesson was presented by Burl Post on Sept. 12 at the Williamsburg Historical Museum. Those participating include Barbara Deeds, Loretta Shirley, Cassandria Perkins, Linda Spencer, Laura Ann Tiller, Denver Tiller, Blanche Knicely and Patty Post.
The club is co-hosting the County CEOS Fall Leadership Day on Sept. 27 at the Clingman Center in Lewisburg.
The next club meeting will be Oct. 17 beginning at noon at the Williamsburg Historical Museum with program Crazy Quilts led by Barbara Deeds. All are welcome to join in to learn and have fun.
