Veteran banker joins Premier Bank

Debby SizemoreVeteran banker Deborah Sizemore has joined Premier Bank as senior vice president – commercial banking.
Mark Bias, president and chief executive officer of Premier Bank, said, “We’re delighted to have a talented and experienced lender like Debby join Premier Bank. She has a tremendous wealth of experience in leadership and business development. She will play an integral role in helping us expand our commercial banking relationships in southern West Virginia.”
Sizemore joins Premier Bank from BB&T, where she recently retired as market president for Raleigh, Fayette, Nicholas and Greenbrier counties. She began her career with New River Banking and Trust Company in 1982 as a customer service representative. She held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her career, with the successor banks, One Valley Bank and BB&T.
The Fayette County native is a graduate of Mountain State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership Management Development. She is also a graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking.
Sizemore is very active in community affairs as a member of Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Southern West Virginia, Tamarack Foundation for the Arts, Fayette County Planning Commission, New River Conservancy and Rotary Club of Beckley.
Premier Bank is a $1.1 billion West Virginia chartered bank with 25 locations in West Virginia, four locations in the DC metro area and two locations in Virginia. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Financial Bancorp Inc., a $1.5 billion-dollar, Huntington-based bank holding company.
