The Valentine’s Day Giveaway basket winner will also be chosen this Saturday at the Winter Farmer’s Market. The basket is populated with a wealth of products including a Dogwood Hill Gardens sampler featuring sausage, bacon, shoulder roast, loin chop, short ribs, beeswax candles, bird seed cakes, and dog treats. The Winter Farmer’s Market is open Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Gus Douglass Building of the WV State Fairgrounds next to the Flea Market. Vendors have bagels, bread, baked goods, body care products, jam, greens, vegetables, herbs, pork, poultry, rabbit, game bird meat, lamb, beef, eggs, chair massage, handmade wearables, jewelry, gifts crafts, woolenwear, and kid’s activities. The market accepts SNAP, EBT and credit cards.
