Trillium Performing Arts is reopening the doors of the Historic Lewis Theatre in 2022 with a new take on an old favorite. Now in its 40th year of production, Trillium hosts two versions of Friday Night Alive.

Event organizer Jeff Laughlin says, “Trillium’s mission has always been to provide diverse performance opportunities for the community. Offering an adult Friday Night Alive in addition to our family friendly version opens up the stage to more artists to express themselves.”

On Friday, Feb. 25, at 8 p.m., Trillium will debut After 8: Friday Night Alive. The evening of community performance on the fringe will include established performers such as Michael Buttrill, Ben Cadle, Jeff Laughlin, and Devin Preston. You will also be introduced to new artists including Anna Knapp (aka Tasergirl), Anthony V. Camarda, and Dr. Vennum.

“We are excited to emerge out of Covid and begin our 40th year with new work and new artists,” Laughlin continued. “We hope Lewisburg is equally excited to support community members sharing their talents and ideas.”

Tickets are still just $6 for adults and $3 for students and AmeriCorps. Masks are required and seating is limited to allow for social distancing. The content is rated mature for language and sexuality. Younger audience members can enjoy family friendly Friday Night Alive on Mar. 25.
