
During Time Out for Applause at the Board of Education meeting, Greenbrier County Schools celebrated the announcement of the 2025 Teacher of the Year Awards.
Holly Ridpath, a first-grade teacher at Ronceverte Elementary School, has been named Greenbrier County’s 2025 Teacher of the Year. Holly’s strong relationships with students and families, student-centered approach, interactive teaching style, and passion for teaching and learning truly stand out. We are incredibly proud of her dedication and commitment to excellence in education.
Erin Tasker, a special education teacher at White Sulphur Springs Elementary, was named Elementary School Teacher of the Year. Often referred to as the student whisperer, Ms. Tasker is known for her kindness, compassion, and love for her students. Her ability to comfort and calm students is nothing short of remarkable!
Honoring Our Secondary Teacher of the Year, Steven Price, a math teacher at Greenbrier West High School. Mr. Price is dedicated to his craft, his school, his community, and most importantly the success and well-being of his students.
