Sprouting Farms is a non-profit that strives to support our local food system through community, equity, and innovation. The Sprouting Farms’ Food Access Program manages community markets and events to provide food access to healthy, affordable, local produce and products. The program supports local farmers and producers, while connecting their goods to communities that are food insecure. Our events focus on celebrating local food, while also providing nutrition education and physical activities.

Through the winter the SF Farm Stand will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an assortment of local meat, produce, jams, syrup, honey, baked goods, and more.

The SF Mobile Farmers Market will be in Summers County on Tuesdays at the Hinton Park across from the Big 4 Drug Store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Then we will be in Monroe County on Thursdays at the Union Senior Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Greenville Pavilion at the Senior Manor from 2 to 4 p.m.

Sprouting Farms is also attending the Holiday Farmers Market at the Fairgrounds in Lewisburg every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gus Douglass building.
