White Sulphur Springs – Sheila Ann Cottrell, 71, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

She was born Mar. 6, 1947, at Rumford, Maine, a daughter of the late Harry Carver, Jr. and Margaret M. McDonald Carver Richards.

Sheila was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs and was a private housekeeper. She also liked working with ceramics, painting, and various arts and crafts.

Sheila leaves behind a daughter, Lisa Hutchins (Danny) of Costa Rica; three sons, Joseph Gallant (Michelle) of Torrington, CT, Scott Gallant (Marilyn) and Troy Gallant (Susan) all of Charleston, SC; her longtime companion, David Eggleston of White Sulphur Springs; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Bryce, Lauren, Joseph, Lisa, Jacob, Troy Calvin, Jr., Brady; and brother, Harry Carver, Jr. (Joann) of Dixfield, Maine.

As per her wishes, her body has been cremated and no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Hospice Care, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901 for their excellent care.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.
