<strong><img class="wp-image-31231 alignleft" src="https:\/\/mountainmedianews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2018\/01\/Wright-Sandra-obit.jpg" alt="" width="233" height="315" \/>White Sulphur Springs<\/strong>-Sandra Hanna Wright, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at her residence.\r\n\r\nShe was born on Apr. 20, 1949, in Miami Beach, FL, to the late Norma Hanna and Emanuel Feldman.\r\n\r\nSandy earned her Master\u2019s Degree at American University. She worked as a Literature and Drama Teacher, in both private and public school systems; including the District of Columbia Public Schools for more than 20 years. She was \u201ca traveler, not a tourist.\u201d Her favorite places to visit were Canada, Britain and Italy. She had a kind heart as well, donating annually to Greenpeace, Wounded Warrior Project, and Southern Poverty Law Center and other organizations.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include her son, John Wright; brother, George Hanna; and beloved dachshund, Tess.\r\n\r\nThere will be a Celebration of Life ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs, with Father Jim Conyers officiating.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to one of the listed organizations above.\r\n\r\nWallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.\r\n\r\nPlease send online condolences by visiting www.WallaceandWallaceFH.com.
