Ruth H. Ray\r\nFairlea-Ruth H. Ray, 84, entered her eternal home in heaven on Monday, June 22, 2015.\r\nBorn Jan. 5, 1931, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Mark Henry Hanna and Arzella Gold Hanna.\r\nMrs. Ray was a member of the Lewisburg Church of Christ. She was an active member of the Lewisburg BPW for many years and a well-respected florist in Greenbrier County for over 40 years. Her greatest love was for her family and grandchildren.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William N. Ray; sister, Marie Fay Chattin; brother, Donald Creed Hanna; and daughter, Janie Zimmerman.\r\nSurvivors include her children, Joe M. Zimmerman and wife Debbie, Cathy L. Dixon and husband Peter, Mark D. Zimmerman and wife Connie, and Billy Casebolt Ray and wife Gail; sister, Mona Clark; stepdaughters, Carol A. Goodman and husband Junior, and Donna L. Blanco and husband Lou; grandchildren, Michael D. Zimmerman, Ann M. Sasso, Anna M. Bennett, Melissa K. Altizer, Mark D. Zimmerman Jr., Christopher J. Dixon, Shannon R. Childress, Jessica C. Zimmerman, Megan A. Ray, and Joshua C. Ray; great-grandchildren, Tyler R. Jones, Brittany C. Defibaugh, Robert \u201cJacob\u201d Altizer, Ashley M. Defibaugh, Hannah G. Altizer, Casey A. Bennett, and Amanda M. Sasso; and great-great-granddaughter, Adaylynn Ann Marie Sharp.\r\nVisitation was at the Lewisburg Church of Christ on Thursday evening, June 25.\r\nThe funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26, at the church.
