Ronald Wayne Shockley

Lewisburg-Ronald Wayne Shockley, 70, passed away, Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at his residence in Lewisburg.

Born Oct. 6, 1950, at Floyd, VA, he was a son of Geneva M. Phillips Shockley of Lewisburg, and the late Fielding V. Shockley.

Ronald was a production worker for U.T.C. aerospace products and transportation systems and was an Army veteran with the 101st Air Borne division.

He is survived by his wife Kimberly Berry Shockley; son, Marcus Wayne Shockley (Georgia) of Lewisburg; two grandchildren, Austin and Skylar Shockley; sister, Kimberly Mayes of Fairlea; and brother, Stephen Larry Shockley of Ronceverte.

There was a visitation at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg on Wednesday, Aug. 25, immediately followed by a graveside service with Military Honors at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg, where Pastor Everett Hat Defibaugh officiated.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
