Roena Mae Piercy, 77, of Lewisburg passed away on Aug. 29, 2026, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
She was born Jan. 14, 1949 in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie Lewis Long.
Roena was a member of the Ronceverte Church of God and was a retired civilian worker for the U.S. Navy.
She is survived by her husband Cecil E. Piercy; son Timothy Hinkle of Lewisburg; grandchildren Shawn Vincent Hinkle and Kayden Matthew Hinkle; sister, Bonnie Petree (Noel) of Clements, Md.; brothers, Alfred Long II (Karen) of Renick, W.Va., and Ronnie Long of Front Royal, Va..
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Bob Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
