Ronceverte-Robert Wetzel McNeil, Sr., 77, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.\r\nBorn at Union on June 26, 1939, he was a son of the late Wetzel Herman McNeil and Nellie Barley McNeil.\r\nBob was owner\/operator of Bob\u2019s Barber Shop in Ronceverte for 47 years. He was known as \u201cMountain Man\u201d to all of his hunting buddies. He loved his grandchildren.\r\nIn addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lewis McNeil.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Martha White McNeil; daughter, Mary Ann Bostic and husband Jeff of Pickaway; son, Robert W. McNeil, Jr. and wife Donette of Clifftop; grandchildren, Daniel Bostic of Pickaway, Matthew Bostic of Union and Maggie Grace Bostic of Pickaway; and sister, June Hazelton and husband Bob of Radford, VA.\r\nFuneral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Rev. Ben Gurley officiated.
