Renick – Robert Lee Blankenship, 90, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at the White Sulphur Springs Center.
Born Feb. 5, 1928, he was the son of the late Gabe and Retta Baldwin Blankenship.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Charlotte North, 18 brothers and sisters, and daughter-in-law, Drucilla Blankenship.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Rosalea Blankenship; sons, Charles Blankenship of Renick, Jack Blankenship (Ann) of Clintonville, Bobby Blankenship (Carolyn) of Frankford, Gerald Blankenship (Vicky) of Frankford, and Gabe Blankenship (Angie) of Clintonville; daughters, Sharon Clevenger (Austin) of Renick, and Marie Blankenship (Lawrence Oney) of Frankford; sister, Susie Wright of Red Line, PA; son-in-law, Wayne North of Staunton, VA; daughter-in-law, Linda Blankenship of Ronceverte; 30 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with Pastor Roger Alder officiating.
Burial will follow in the Workman Cemetery, Renick.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home.
