Union – Robert Lee Ash, 82, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at his farm near Union.
It was a beautiful sunny day and he was doing what he loved, dressed in his farm working clothes and boots. He had finished helping milk the dairy cows and fed calves for the morning and for the last time on this earth.
Born on Sept. 14, 1936, he was the son of the late Roy and Harriet Ash.
Robert was a life-long farmer, he served in the United States Army and served on the head of directors of several businesses. He stayed very active up till his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Ash; his son, Andrew Ash; and sister, Ann; and several cousins.
For everyone who knew him, please be happy for Robert as he was able to leave his earthly life as he had wished, working on his farm.
