Lewisburg-Rebecca Juanita Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at her home in Lewisburg.
Born May 8, 1931, in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late John Walker and Kathleen Francis Howard Hall.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of the River of Life Church in Dublin, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Jackson; son, Gary Jackson; four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by six children, Sherlyn Clement, Gale Halloway, Dale Jackson, Brad Jackson, Lisa White and Charmin Belle; sisters, Polly Brammer and Violet Honaker; brothers, Monroe, Daryl and Gerald Hall; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, where Rev. Mike Honaker officiated.
Burial was in the Adwell Cemetery at Ronceverte.
Friends called Thursday evening, Oct. 17 at the funeral home.
With all of our hearts we would like to thank the staff of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for the loving kindness given to our mother, Rebecca Jackson. We appreciate our two aunts, Violet and Polly for caring and loving our mother during her illness and we would also like to thank our Mom’s wonderful neighbor, Carter Sykes, for his many acts of kindness and hard work he showed our mother.
