Lewisburg – Raymond Franklin Taylor, 93, of the Seasons Place, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Mar. 14, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Taylor was born Oct. 25, 1924, in Curtain, Nicholas County, the son of the late James Luther Taylor and Sara Jane Blankenship Taylor.
He was a retired employee of The Greenbrier Hotel with 35 years of service and was a U.S. Marine veteran of WWII.
Preceding Raymond in death other than his parents were his sisters, Dora Walkup and Dorothy Hanna; brothers, Roy, Ray and Ralph Taylor and his son-in- law, Junior Spence.
Surviving are his daughter, Joyce Spence of Caldwell; longtime friend, Jackie Phillips of Union; and several nieces and nephews.
At his request to help further medical education, Mr. Taylor was a donor to WVSOM Human Gift Registry.
