Ronceverte – Patricia Ann Ford, 84, passed away Friday, Mar. 16, 2018, at the Greenbrier Health Care Center in Lewisburg.

Born Jan. 26, 1934, at Second Creek, she was a daughter of the late Leslie N. and Mary Trent Reed.

Ann grew up in the Second Creek area of Monroe County with strong ties to the large Reed and Trent families of the area. She was an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ronceverte, where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She graduated from Union High School and St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Huntington and, upon graduating, married Kelly A. Ford of Ronceverte, where they settled and raised their family. She retired as a nursing supervisor from Greenbrier Physicians Clinic after many years of service.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly A. Ford and her son, Joseph Ford.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Thompson and husband, Dr. Robert Thompson of Caldwell; two grandchildren, Julie Conner (Adam) of Waynesboro, VA and Bradley Fisk of Christiansburg, VA; two great-grandchildren, Ella Conner and Jake Conner, both of Waynesboro, VA; sister, June R. Yates of Lewisburg; niece, Teresa Lovell (Scotty) of Shady Springs; brother-in-law, Frank Ford of Ronceverte; nephews, Mark Ford (Kelly) of Campbell Hall, NY, Matt Ford (Tina) of Ronceverte, and Pat Brown (Carol) of Ronceverte; and a very special friend, Marlene Ford, of Fairlea.

Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, Mar. 22, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ronceverte, where Father John McDonough officiated. Burial followed in Riverview Cemetery, Ronceverte.

Friends and family were received Wednesday evening, Mar. 21, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
