Randolph Hampton Haynes, a devoted community member, retired truck driver, and proud veteran, passed away on Mar. 11, 2026, in Lewisburg, WV, at the age of 79. Born on Aug. 20, 1946, in Gap Mills, Randolph led a life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and service.

Mr. Haynes retired as a truck driver for Boxley, where his commitment and work ethic earned him respect from colleagues and friends alike. His service extended beyond his professional endeavors, as he proudly served in the WV Army National Guard, contributing to the safety and well-being of his community and country.

He was a trustee and an active member of the First Baptist Church of White Sulphur Springs, where his contributions to the congregation and community were a source of personal pride and fulfillment. His leadership and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him within the church.

Randolph is survived by his beloved son Eugene Haynes and Eugene’s wife Roseann; his cherished daughter Tammy Haynes; his siblings, Bobby Haynes, Betty Bering Haynes, and Ruth Williams; as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who continue to honor his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Haynes and Ruth Tiffney Haynes; and siblings Mary Alice Jackson and James Haynes, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life.

Randolph Hampton Haynes exemplified a life of service, both to his country and community, and of unwavering devotion to his faith. His legacy endures through the many lives he touched. Services to honor Mr. Haynes will reflect his humble spirit and deep commitment to those he loved.

The family extends their gratitude for the support and condolences received during this time of mourning. Randolph Hampton Haynes will be remembered with respect and admiration by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A homegoing service will be scheduled later. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements entrusted to Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
