Belinda Faye Walton, 71, of Ronceverte, passed away peacefully and without pain on Mar. 9, 2026 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV.

Belinda was a free-spirited, funny, and hard working person who never turned down the opportunity for a new adventure with her friends and family, whom she loved deeply. Belinda was proudly in recovery for 11 years, and she had a very broad network of friends and community members that she loved and cared for like family. Belinda proudly worked as a seamstress for many years, loved listening to music, and took her role as a Mom to both humans and animals very seriously. She also worked in Reception at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for over 22 years, where she found joy in helping others. Belinda made new friends very easily, she loved to tell stories and make others laugh, and she always did her best to help others in need.

She is preceded in death by both her mother, Neita B. Walton and father, Leo S. Walton; and her brother, Kenneth D. Walton; all of whom she loved and missed dearly.

Belinda’s surviving family members are her daughter Erica Wallin and her daughter-in-law Hannah Wallin. She also leaves behind multiple communities and groups that she was very closely involved with and who care about her very deeply.

We mourn the loss of Belinda and encourage all that knew her to remember the warmth and lightheartedness that she brought to this world every day. A service will be held for her at St. James Episcopal Church in Lewisburg on Mar. 28 at 3 p.m. The service will then be followed by a celebration of life reception immediately after the service, where Belinda’s family hopes to share a meal and stories with all of those who cared for and loved her over the years. Any and all members of the community who knew Belinda and her family are welcome to join us.

In Belinda’s memory, the family asks that donations be made to the Greenbrier Humane Society as a tribute to her dedication to loving and caring for our furry companions who cannot speak for themselves.
