Third Annual One Night Only Showcase performers

Carnegie Hall proudly celebrated the success of the third annual One Night Only Showcase, an evening dedicated to uplifting and spotlighting some of Greenbrier County’s most accomplished young musicians. Held on March 12 in the Hamilton Auditorium, the event brought together students, families, educators, and community supporters for a night filled with artistry, encouragement, and local pride.

Designed to showcase a diverse array of talented music students in grade 6-12, One Night Only provides a warm, supportive environment where young performers can shine. Each year, students submit video entries – both solo and ensemble – for a standardized judging process, with selected musicians invited to perform live on the historic Carnegie Hall stage. This year over 50 submissions were received with only 22 making the final cut.

This year’s showcase featured exceptional performances from: Asa Marks, Sal Marks, Sasha Lanek, Georgia Craft, Ava Tilden, Meryl Wadsworth, Alexus Hill, Willow Hill, Jackson Isenberg, Dillon Jackson, Lucia Lipton, Lily Tincher, Philip McLaughlin, Penelope Thompson, Eden Trent, Chaya Thiab, Arabella Webb, Emmalyn Webb, Nathaniel Vincent, Emma Vincent, Noah Lewis, Isaac Tincher, Lydia Jackson, Isaiah Medley, Liam Polk, Orion Graves, Madaline Bland, Ryan Lemon, Violet Wiant, Hannah Gill, Kim Butler, Emmalee Perkins, Brian Lopez, Maggie Boothe, Christian Montgomery, and Xavier Elizzaraga.

The evening was guided with confidence and charm by student emcee Kimmi Butler, whose leadership helped shape the event’s welcoming atmosphere.

Adding humor and theatrical flair, the self-titled Outcasts of Carnegie – Monroe Jesser, Greely Turner, and Noelle Palmatier – delivered a comedic interlude that delighted the audience.

Backstage, the production was supported by the dedicated Student Stage Crew, including Brian Lopez and Emma Lee Perkins, whose behind‑the‑scenes expertise ensured a seamless show.

This year’s program was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Dr. David and Mrs. Jennifer Webb, whose support helps sustain meaningful performance opportunities for young artists across the Greenbrier Valley.

“One Night Only is a testament to the power of arts education,” said Carnegie Hall Education Director Harmony Flora. “It brings our community together, lifts up our young people, and celebrates the creativity that thrives in Greenbrier County.”

Special thanks to Birch Graves, Nick Cornwell, Jake Logan, all students that submitted an entry for this year’s performance, One Night Only committee, Carnegie Hall staff, all Greenbrier County music educators, private music instructors, band and vocal instructors, the ONO families, volunteers, and judges.
